If there’s a man who’s going to find it hard to lose weight, it’s the owner and chef of the Railway Tavern bistro.
But Kerrod Pedley has lost 9 kilograms, a lot of it round his waist.
He said the secret is to cut put picking at chips through the day and eat better food at meal-times.
Plus work-outs at Kings Gym twice a day before and after work.
Trainer and gym owner, Nigel King, said you can exercise through the day: “We don’t call it a diet. It’s a change of life-style – exercise. Even in 30 seconds you can do something – some kind of movement”.
Kerrod said he had lost a lot of weight around his midriff through training. And he’s changed his diet. Instead, of snacking on chips (which are often in front of him in the kitchen of the Railway Tavern), he has cut out processed food.
“It’s all about eating in moderation”, he said, “at specific times and smaller amounts”.
