There was a definite and unmissable highlight – fireworks to light up the wider sky above town on the clear Friday night.
Back on earth, there were 42 stalls, and also competitions – one grand prize in the raffle involved a holiday to Hamilton Island.
Apart from barbecue and sausage sizzle, there were also stalls offering food from other countries, like Turkish cuisine.
The fund-raising fair was organised by the school’s Parents and Friends’ Association.
There was music plus dancing by the Glen Innes Highland Dancers and the Star Avenue Dance Centre.
