Seven swimmers and six adults from Glen Innes Redfins swim club attended Tamworth City long course carnival in 41 degree heat on Sunday, January 8 in Tamworth.

All swimmers had personal bests.
Warne McShane had pbs and placed first in all four events. He took 6.64 seconds off in the 25 metre freestyle, 8.01 seconds of in 25 breast stroke, 1.97 seconds off in 25 butterfly and 5.90 seconds off backstroke.
Cadence McShane had pbs in five events – she took .89 seconds off in 50m freestyle, 4.88 seconds off in 100 butterfly, 0.67 seconds off in100 backstroke, a massive 15.88 seconds off in freestyle and 0.93 seconds off in 100 breaststroke.
Beth Arandale had pbs in 50m freestyle and took off 13.95 seconds, 5.45 seconds in 50 Breaststroke and 1.24 seconds off in 50 butterfly.
Mary Arandale had pbs in 50 freestyle and took off 6.45 seconds, 2.85 seconds in 50 breaststroke and placed first, took 9.37 seconds in 100 breaststroke. Kyara McIntyre got two second placings and two third placings.
She had pbs in 100m backstroke and took off 0.37 seconds. She also took 0.97 seconds off in 200m breaststroke, and 0.16 seconds off in 100m breaststroke.
Sophie McCormick got pbs in all five of her events.
She took 0.45 seconds off in 50m freestyle, 9.81 seconds off in 50m butterfly, 11.12 seconds off in 50m backstroke, 4.86 seconds off in 100m butterfly and 13.96 seconds off in her 200m individual medley.
All swimmers have been training hard under the guidance of coach Keith Watts and he was very pleased with their efforts on Sunday.
