The first baby born in the hospital this year is home and well and with his family – and probably sleeping nicely.
Cassie Jacobs said Noah was a “really good baby”. His father, Ben, said: “He’s a real mummy’s boy” as Noah himself slept blissfully on his mother’s chest.
Both mother and father were delighted with the way they were treated at Glen Innes Hospital. Ben and Cassie said jointly: “We would really like to thank Gillian and Jan, the midwives, and Dr Correy”.
Noah was born at 5.08 on the morning of January 6.
He is not, however, the first citizen of Glen Innes to be born in 2018. Another baby was born to a mother from the town on January 1 but the delivery had to be in Armidale.
