It consists of historic accounts of the show, put up as posters in the shop window, and a model horse, sheep and other rural items connected with the show. The display reads like a history of the show and of the town and the industry from which it grew.
The imaginative display was created by Trixie Newberry and Felicity Shaw.
This is the 150th anniversary of the founding of the show (jointly at the time with Inverell), and the committee are promoting its celebration throughout the town – with striking displays like that in the Newberry Te Velde Carige front windown.
