The Centrepoint Fellowship Centre in Glen Innes held a “Gospel outreach” at the Town Hall on Saturday.
Organiser, Pastor Scott Beath, said about fifty people attended from as far aay as Northern Queensland and South Australia.
There was a particular welcome for Aboriginal people.
One of the spectacular images was of a Harley Davidson parked outside by a worshipper.
Pastor Beath said that the organisation was non-denominational and raised money for an orphanage in Uganda as well as for those in need in Australia, particularly widows and orphans in poverty and for people who had been in prison.
At the event on Saturday, there was much singing and rapturous worship as well as tea and food refreshment.
