It’s called “Country Hearted” and there’s an official launch in the town on Sunday, May 6 at the Glen Innes Bowling Club.
But the release is already getting play time on music stations across Australia.
Rachel’s on a promotion tour which takes in appearances and interviews from Townsville to Melbourne.
She says the release is a mix of country classics, ballads and a gospel track, along with three original songs, including one she wrote herself.
There is local inspiration. One track is called “Land Of The Beardies”.
Rachel said: “The song details the pioneers to our area and mentions some local iconic areas and events.
“I love my town and am proud to promote it wherever possible”.
The launch at 2 pm in the bowling club will be sponsored by Wayne McCarthy Earthmoving, Glen Innes Cleaning Professionals and Timbs Pharmacy. Rachel will perform and sign CDs. Entrance is free.
Rachel said: “Thank you so much to my sponsors for your generous support”.
