But the combination of the two can’t be much better than a visit by the Mobile Vet Clinic plus the call to bring in your own pets.
That’s what happened at Deepwater Public School earlier in the month.
Vet Michelle Piccini took her mobile clinic down from Tenterfield and kept the children of Deepwater entertained and informed.
They learnt how animals function, finding the heartbeat of a dog, for example. And they learnt how to treat animals well. Some were pets and some were working dogs.
And the pictures by acting principal, Rosh Mercer, are cute.
