At St Joseph’s school in Glen Innes, they’ve been filing in to a special stall with an assortment of gifts (which we can’t reveal because it would spoil the surprise).

But the kids clearly enjoyed themsleves.

Let’s hope the mothers do, too – and even the fathers.
