Though they came away from Tiger territory with the win, Glen Innes coach David Willis said the side were disappointing in attack.
“We put pressure on ourselves dropping ball and pushing passes, not completing our sets and not using the ball enough through the hands,” he said.
“It was very hot and dry at Tingha and all the girls worked hard in the conditions. This weekend’s game will be a good test for us we are in a good position on the ladder and the girls are gelling well.
“This week we will be working on attack, completing sets and also our defence.”
