The kids responded with equal animation. The enthusiasm for the story was loud and clear..
The reading was at the Glen Innes Public School but included children from Glen West pre-school and Aussie Kindies.
It was part of National Simultaneous Storytime which is an annual campaign to encourage more young Australians to read and enjoy books.
Now in its 18th successful year, it was coulourful and fun, using the Australian children's book to address areas of the National Curriculum for Foundation to Year 6.
