The chairs will be housed in Armidale but will be made available for games such as basketball, tennis and rugby across the New England.
They will be used for the first time at a sports day at Tamworth Sports Dome, being held next week for local school students, and the people and groups who pitched in to purchase the items.
The 10 chairs cost a little over $20,000 in total.

That money came from groups including Wheelchair Sports NSW, Ability Links and Blue Liners Australia.
Wheelchair Sports NSW regional sports development officer Joe Shoebridge said they would be stored at the University of New England in Armidale.
However, they would be transported to other places with suitable facilities, such as Tamworth’s sports dome, for games.
“We obviously need one place to store them, but they’re for the whole region,” Mr Shoebridge said.
“It’s great that it’s come together, and we’re really excited.”
Wheelchair sports are available to chair users as well as able-bodied people.
