Queensland police locate Hoynes twins from Inverell in Gympie

Queensland Police have located wanted twin brothers Liam and Rhys Hoynes, of Inverell.

A search warrant was executed at a Gympie address on Thursday last week where officers allegedly located the 24-year-olds and a number of other items including chemicals.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed the twins appeared before Gympie Magistrates Court.

They were remanded in custody to appear again on Monday, July 9 in relation to a number of drug production and possession of dangerous drug charges in Queensland. 

Both twins are facing charges of one count of producing dangerous drugs, one count of possessing relevant substances, one count of publishing or possessing instructions for producing dangerous drugs, one count of possessing anything for use of the commission of a crime and one count of contravening order for information necessary to access information stored electronically.
