There was snow, of course – out of a machine. But the warmth of the day overwhelmed the chill of winter.
The festival was opened by Adam Marshall MP, with Madge, the Australian icon, Dame Edna’s servant, clutching him.
This second Chill N Glen was varied and interesting – cars and characters, top food and drink and good company.
One of the big successes seemed to be the food hall. The organisers had gone for high-end producers, many from Glen Innes and surrounds. Some stall sold out because the demand was there.
