Michael Duckett disappeared from a retirement village in Tamworth on July 21.
Mr Duckett had been staying at Ingenia Gardens off Johnston Street and told staff he was going to town but did not return.
Following initial searches, police have been unable to find him and believe he could have left Tamworth.
“His location is not known, however has stated in the past he liked Manilla and has been linked to the Tenterfield area,” an Oxley Police District spokesperson said.
“There are concerns for his welfare as Mr Duckett is on medication and it is unknown if he had taken it with him.”
Oxley police issued a public appeal for help to find Mr Duckett again on Saturday, and are calling for help from from further afield in the New England to find the 68-year-old.
Mr Duckett is described as Caucasian with and olive or tan complexion, short white hair with and average build and blue eyes.
Police said Mr Duckett’s appearance “is untidy at times” and he wears glasses.
