Glen Innes Public School holds book fair and grand parade

If you can’t tell a book by its cover, you can tell a child by the character he or she chooses.

It tells you what book they’re reading and that tells you a lot.

The students of Glen Innes Public School dressed in the outfits of the fictional characters in their favourite books as a celebration of reading.

There were a lot of Harry Potters and a few Henry Lawson outback drovers and a smattering of princesses.

And a lot of applause and fun.
