On Tuesday, they lost 14-6 to Tamworth South Public School in the regional final of the PSSA knock-out competition.
The winner was heading to Sydney for the knockout carnival.
Assistant Principal, Jane Lawrence, said: “The girls should be congratulated for their commitment to training and the way they worked together as a team by encouraging and supporting one another. They have performed extremely well and have being outstanding ambassadors for our school. I am so proud of the girls”.
This was the team's lead up to this week’s game:
Rounds 1 & 2 – bye. Round 3 - Glen Innes Public School defeated Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School 12-9. Round 4 – Glen Innes Public School defeated Sandon Public School 25-4. Round 5 – Glen Innes Public School defeated Martin’s Gully Public School 18-7. Round 6 - Glen Innes defeated Ross Hill 14-7.
But then: Round 7/ Regional Final - The final score was 14-6 to Tamworth South Public School.
