G’Day USA has taken scores of local students to the big sites (and sights) in America but also to people’s homes and schools.
Ten days in an American high school, staying with local families, is often the high spot.
The organisers are holding a meeting on Monday, September 24 at the library to assess interest for the next trip which is not until January 2020.
Organiser, Jennifer Mundy, said: “The program is offered every two years and ten trips have been taken so far – so that is twenty years of Glen Innes students travelling on our program!
“I will be holding a G’Day USA 2020 information meeting for any interested students and parents on Monday, September 24 in the William Gardner Room of the Glen Innes Library at 6pm.”
