The event is on October 27 and will feature many of the old favourites.
But also, the vicar says they reckon they’ve got a promise of an inflatable soccer field and also a dunking machine.
The staple, though, will be the food. “Carol Shannon’s cakes sell out in minutes”, said David Robinson, “There’s usually a line outside the hall even before they open the doors for her cakes”.
The floral display in the church is expected to be a highlight.
On the Sunday after the fete, there’s to be a service of thanksgiving at 8.30, combing the usual early and mid-morning services.
