Radio 2CBD, the community radio station for Glen Innes, wants to hear from you.

It’s currently applying for another five year extension of its licence and the rigorous process demands that the people behind the station listens to listeners and would-be listeners. It’s a condition stipulated by the Australian Communications and Media Authority when licences are allocated.

So they are seeking people who are prepared to take part in a focus group.

The station’s secretary, David Donnelly, said it wasn’t a big burden. People would be asked what sort of programmes they would like – more classical, less classical, more jazz, less jazz, that kind of thing.

He said people could call him on 0429107545 or get in touch with the station (02 6732 6729 (Administration) or radio2cbd@gmail.com).

The station has been running for more than 20 years. It has a range of talented broadcasters.
