Cattle grazier and campdrafter Ben Thompson has been asked to judge at the event this weekend.
The Bell is the first competition in the prestigious Triple Crown three-event series.
The other two events include the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock which will take place the weekend after the Bell.
The prestigious Warwick Gold Cup, which every campdrafter dreams about winning, follows Chinchilla.
Ben will also be competing at Condamine in the Novice campdraft and will also be saddling up to give it his best shot at bringing the Gold Cup later this month.
Ben and his wife, Maryanne, along with their three children will be taking a truckload of horses to the event.
“Ben’s has had a good run lately having won five drafts in a row between Bollon in Queensland, North Star, Copmanhurst and Gladstone so hopefully he keeps his winning game on,” Maryanne said.
“We will have our three sons their to strap for us, Blake, Alex and Lance.
“With good riding, good cattle and a bit of luck we will try and bring another Gold Cup home to Glen Innes along with a ladies Silver Cup to top the trip off.”
