Police have executed a search warrant and seized multiple items from a property on the state’s west after receiving information about criminal activity at a home on Old Turrawan Road in Narrabri.
Entering the home at around 5:30pm, police located a variety of electronics and appliances believe to be stolen from recent incidents in the Narrabri Shire – along with an electronic control device and a small quantity of a prohibited drug.
No officers were injured as a result of the search warrant an the seized items will undergo forensic examination.
Inquiries into the incident continue.
While in Wee Waa, three people have been charged after an off-duty police officer and a member of the public detained two others.
About 1am on Tuesday, officers from Oxley Police District received reports of an alleged break and enter occurring at Rose Street.
An off-duty police officer was notified by a member of the public who had witnessed the incident, and the pair attended the property.

A man and a woman were located and held by the off-duty police officer until further police arrived. Another man was seen fleeing the area.
A 26-year-old man and 16-year-old girl were arrested by police and conveyed to Moree Police Station.
The man was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, and appeared before Moree Local Court on October 9. He was refused bail and will reappear on Monday November 26.
The girl was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, and appeared before a children’s court yesterday. She was refused bail to reappear at a children’s court on October 10.
At about midday, police arrested the third man at a separate address at Mitchell Street, Wee Waa. He was charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, and was refused bail to appear at Moree Local Court on October 10.
The off-duty police officer and member of the public were uninjured, and are to be commended by senior officers for their assistance with the incident.
