It was a wonderful and exciting morning. The children had a great time having breakfast with the riders and Postman Pat was a definite favourite.
Another favourite was the bubble bike.
Thank you to all who were involved, especially the P&C members who cooked, shopped and organised, the staff for generously giving their time, community members who helped with the clean-up and Virginia and her family for organising the seating and amazing sign.
The funds from this event ($3636) will be used to support the new Science and Technology Curriculum by purchasing computer coding equipment for use in the classrooms.
The Variety Club was very impressed with the presentation of the event, especially the placemats made by our students, the flowers on the tables, the variety and amount of food available to them. Favourable comment was also made on the effort the P&C made to support local suppliers.
The organisers thanked everyone who supported this event and made it so successful and the school looks forward to hosting similar events in the future.
