Paper poppies were made by students and displayed out the front of the school.
The day continued with a very exciting visit from Light Horseman Barry Newberry on his horse “Matilda”. Mr Newberry kept the students entertained by displaying skill-at-arms routines, showing the students his horse-riding ability and tricks.

Students had the opportunity to ask him questions regarding his uniform and equipment as well as questions about Remembrance Day.
Following the Light Horse presentation students gathered in the hall where Dean Gillett hosted a Remembrance Day ceremony.
Students were instructed on the significance of Remembrance Day, and then a wreath was placed under the Australian flag.
