Trust member Michael Condon said the funding from the 2018 NSW Community Building Partnership Fund was fantastic news.
“It’s a great project, and another notch in our belt,” Mr Condon said.
Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall announced the funding on Friday.

The block is next to the shearing shed, on the Bourke Street fence, north of the old pavilion.
The Trust has already engaged a local builder to construct the new block.
“We have destroyed the old, dirty, unsafe ablutions block,” Mr Condon said, “and we’re ready to replace it with a modern one.”
The old block had been around for more than half a century.
“It was a bit of a scary place,” Mr Condon said, “but now we’ve demolished it. We’ll put the new one in the same location, so it services a lot of campers in that area.”
Guild people during the show, and campdrafters use the site as a camping ground.
“There’s camping for some 19 vans, and those campers will get the benefit of a toilet block right on their doorstep,” Mr Marshall said.
The new block will be the only one on the northern end of the showground. It would complements the six other blocks on the site.
The design is traditional, but includes male and female showers, and double toilet facilities, but with tiles and modern amenities.
A corrugated iron cladding block, painted in heritage colours, will replace the old brick building.
The funding will also pay for plumbing and electrics needed.
Mr Marshall expects the new amenities to be in place for the annual Glen Innes Show, starting February 18, 2019. The 150th show, often referred to as “the Royal of the North”, was held last year.
“The show reflects the strong Glen Innes community,” Mr Marshall said.
“About 100 volunteers make up the Glen Innes Agricultural Show committee. When many communities are struggling to find people to be on show committees, to keep our country shows alive, the Glen society is vibrant and energetic, and is bucking that trend.
“The volunteers and committee people contribute countless hours of thought, planning, preparation, and assistance to make the show a reality and a success, and this latest piece of infrastructure is thoroughly deserved.”
