The task of painting the interior of the church was a huge undertaking by the team of 12 volunteers, who worked tirelessly over 10 days.
On arrival, they were amazed at the height of the walls they were to paint. Scaffolding was erected and the preparation and painting commenced with enthusiasm and dedication.
The team have just recently completed the project and they were thanked and farewelled at a fellowship dinner. Maintenance on such a large, historical building is very expensive and the congregation is grateful for their wonderful work.
The facelift is very timely as plans are under way for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the church building next year.
