The under-10s had already booked their spot after beating Armidale 18-16 in the major semi-final.
The intermediate league tag team took on Inverell in Saturday's preliminary final in Guyra.
In a tough defensive game, a conversion made all the difference with the Glen Innes team taking a 6-4.
Mia Baker made her way over the tryline for a converted try on the stroke of half-time.
Glen Innes led 6-nil at the break.
The second stanza saw Inverell score mid-way through but they missed the conversion and Glen Innes held them out until full-time.
The Glen girls will face Armidale in the grand final in Ashford this Saturday.
In a nail-biting finish, the Glen Innes under-16 side pipped minor premiers Moree at the death.
Moree hadn't lost a game all season but bowed out in straight sets in both finals matches with a major semi-final loss to Inverell before facing Glen.
Down 16-12, Glen scored at the death with Harrison Grob nailing a conversion from out wide to get the win 18-16.
Co-coach James Graham said the side has stepped up a gear throughout the finals series.
"In the last three weeks they have lifted to a whole new level," he said.
"We have asked them to go to the next level and they have gone to the next level and beyond."
Graham said they can "definitely" win the decider and the whole team was thrilled to make it to the final hurdle.
"Over the moon, absolutely ecstatic because a lot of those kids have never been to a grand final," he said.
"It has been a hard job for myself, [co-coaches] Dom Grob and Charlie Kiehne, just preparing them for it.
"We knew it was going to be next level football coming at them."
