Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall said he was looking forward to a number of key road projects in the region being submitted to help local communities.
"Through this program our region has already seen 15 local roads upgraded with more than $20 million secured in previous rounds," he said.
These upgrades support our freight industry by improving the connectivity of local roads, reducing the costs to business and driving economic growth in the region.
"I want to see more projects funded on key freight routes and so do our local communities."

Projects funded in previous Fixing Country Roads round include $4.67 million for Armidale Regional Council to upgrade the Big Hill section of the Armidale to Kempsey Road and $1.98 million for Uralla Shire Council to seal Bingara Road.
"This round is a great opportunity for our local councils to secure funds to deliver the projects that they know the local community wants and needs," Mr Marshall said.
"Councils can submit a standalone application or partner with other local government areas on larger-scale projects that could help improve the efficiency of the freight task."
Councils can also consider applying for additional funding under Federal Government initiatives like the Bridges Renewal Program, Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program and the Building Better Regions Fund.
Applications are now open and close on October 10.
