This Sunday Magpies senior league teams have the chance to win their first premiership in years.
Glen Innes last won in 2012 at home against Guyra, and before that in 2010, in Guyra. They also overcame Tingha at home in 2008.
From the Regional Australia Bank to the Services Club, Glen Innes is showing their support.
Player-coach Nick Say predicted a public holiday on Monday if the team clinches the win. He said the whole town is gearing up for Sunday's fixtures.
"Not just the boys and the girls, the town," he said.
"Everyone is excited for the weekend and we can't wait.
"You go down the street and there is just black and white everywhere which is good.
"It just shows that the town is really getting behind it."
