When the Bingara artist came to Glen Innes four years ago going fossicking, she immediately fell in love with the town, moving here two years later.
Despite the massive change in temperature with the shift from Bundaberg she now calls the New England home.
And just this month Jopha has opened a new arts, crafts and curios store in a room at the Poplar caravan park.
"I'm thrilled with it," she said.
"I never thought I had it in me to do something like this."
Mayor Carol Sparks snipped the red tape on Saturday August 17.
The store now sells paintings, pottery and sculptures - notably her "ladies".
