A TV was allegedly stolen from a residential address on Lawrence street in a raid sometime this month as the owner left the house unattended while on holidays.
Police say the unknown perpetrators gained access by breaking a first-story window sometime between August 1 at 9.30am and August 22 at 12.50pm.
The alleged criminals rummaged through bedrooms and living areas and stole a TV.
Forensic police have dusted the scene for fingerprints and they are now waiting on results. They are also appealing to the public for information.
They suspect it is a one-off offence.
A Meade street house was robbed last week, with a large old chainsaw missing, police say.
The alleged offence was committed between 4.00pm on August 20 and 8.00am on August 21.
Police say an unknown person entered an unlocked garden shed at the rear of the property and took a chainsaw.
Nothing else was taken.
Forensic police have fingerprinted the scene, but do not think the two alleged crimes are connected.
These are some of the first reported break and entries in eight weeks.
Police are also reporting an apparent lull in domestic violence assaults, with zero reported incidents in six weeks. There were just 48 domestic assaults in the year to March, around half the rate in 2016 when Glen Innes had the third highest rate in NSW.
