The pair have been travelling through the region as part of the Sixers' Community Blast program and been visiting schools to promote the sport.
Nevill has played 17 tests for Australia and in every Big Bash season since the competition's inception in 2011-12 while Hughes is an up-and-comer making her way through the women's ranks.
They were in Glen Innes on Wednesday where they engaged in a question and answer session with the students.
The cricketers were asked some pretty interesting questions by the students including "how many games have you won?" but the pair were more than happy to answer them.
