The threat to homes near Drake and Tabulam has eased, according to the latest updates from the NSW Rural Fire Service.
However parts of the Bruxner Highway remain closed.

The RFS has advised residents in the areas of Rover Park and Red Rock to monitor conditions and to follow their bush fire survival plan.
People near Drake, Ewingar, Sandy Place, Tilbaroo and areas on the western side of the Clarence River, should follow their plans and know what to do if conditions change.
There was an emergency warning issued for the Kingsgate and Red Range fires in the Glen Innes area.
The fire burnt more than 7,400 hectares and was listed as out of control late on Saturday night.
The fire was burning within the Brother State Forest to the west of Newton Boyd, as well as near Wytaliba.
The threat to homes has eased.
An ember warning has been issued for people in the area of Newton Boyd and Wytaliba.
These embers could cause spot fires ahead of the main fire.
People are urged to monitor their properties for spot fires and to do what they can to extinguish it.
Meanwhile the fire near Bees Nest has burnt more than 90,000 hectares and was listed as under control.
