The open women's team took out the tournament undefeated for the second year running and the 17s squad also claimed the top honour.
Four teams contested the open's competition - Glen Innes, Armidale, Narwan and Ashford - while Glen Innes, Narwan and Ashford played in the under-17 competition.
There was also an under-15 tournament with Armidale, Warialda and Boomerangs taking part.
Open's player and under-17 mentor Sarah Byrne was happy to see the junior sides taking part.
"They did really well considering none of them had played much tackle before," she said.
"I think that it was just really good to see them play, there were a few girls from other towns that joined in and they gelled well
"We also had a couple of them play up with us and they didn't look out of place at all."
At this stage, there will be no Group 19 representative tackle side to face Groups 4 and 21 early in the new year.
Names will be put forward to participate in the Greater Northern Academy squad to train in the lead up to the Country Championships and then a team will be picked for the competition.
