The Year 12 Students and committee have raised money for the past year to fund this night and support Family and Youth Support Services.
They donated $4,500 to the charity on the night; all money raised will go to Glen Innes families needing support.
"This is an amazing amount of money," Annette Eastwood, president of the formal committee, said. "Congratulations to all the Year 12 students and committee for all your hard work."
Christine Kiehne and Dannielle Lightfoot were thrilled to accept the cheque on the night, and said they already had plans on how to spend the money.
"Elegant! Amazing! Wow! Outstanding! Breathtaking! Extraordinary! Impressive!" were some of the words you could hear throughout the night from people stunned by how good the club looked.
It looked as though you entered an indoor marquee filled with lights from Mr & Mrs Hill Lighting.
"A huge congratulations to all the Year 12 students for making it to the end of your HSC!" Ms Eastwood said. "This is a massive achievement for you. The Formal Committee wishes you all the very best in your endeavours and encourages you to 'Reach for the Stars'!"
