The pool was closed last month with the Glen Innes Severn Council concerned about the health impact of bushfire-fighting helicopters.
The pool was reopened on Friday November 29 after a council backflip on the decision.
The pool will be opened during normal hours of 12 to 6pm, except for Christmas and Boxing day.
The council was forced to close the pool for two days during last month's fire emergency, in order to allow pool staff the choice of evacuating the town.
The closure became permanent, with council concerned about helicopters blowing grass and dust into the pool. Council said they would normally use backwash to clean it, but the region-wide water shortage prevents this.
