"Corporal Punishment" - from WWI-era Blackadder Goes Forth - was performed, with a local flavour, at the Ben Lomond War Memorial Hall on Thursday, November 14.
The play was originally planned for a Saturday performance, but catastrophic fire ground conditions delayed the production.
A 'Watch and Act' alert was issued in the village, and residents were advised to be prepared to evacuate.

The BLES troupe repurposed the food prepared for the show as a 'Pop-Up Firies Pit-Stop' to feed Rural Fire Service and National Parks and Wildlife Service personnel working to save local properties.
Since the village was unscathed and the fire threat diminished, the BLES cast presented their play on Thursday.
Tony Bush played Blackadder; Melody van Nistelrooy the formidable General Sir Anthony Cecil Howart Melchett; Belinda Parkinson the diligent Captain Darling; Russell Roberts the affable Lieutenant George; Beth White the pesky Private Baldrick; and Mick Shiner as the polite jailer Perkins.
BLES is sponsored by Landcare, and was formed at a Landcare meeting in Glencoe. The production used the stage extension and curtains procured by the Ben Lomond Performing Arts Group in the 1980s.
