The Glen Innes quartet who represented NSW at the National Shearing Competition in Dubbo made their way back to town with a handful of trophies to their names.

Reigning Australian champion Daniel McIntyre's speed and precision with the shears saw him notchup his fifth national title win as well as a triumph in the open's event on the Friday and scored a victory for the Australian team in the Trans-Tasman annual machine shearing match against New Zealand.
"It never gets old, it is the fifth time," McIntyre said of his wins.
"It is just being able to catch up with everyone every year too, it is a great social event as well."
He will also represent Australia for the eighth time at the Golden Shears in New Zealand in 2020.
Byron Campbell also scored a national title, winning the intermediate shear and scoring himself a trip to the New Zealand Shears national shearing and wool handling championships at Te Kuiti in April. Ryan McIntyre finished fourth in the novice event while Jack Hillier earned seventh in the novice wool handling event.
"It is just great to have the young fellas interested in the competitions," Daniel McIntyre said of the achievements of the youngsters from Glen Innes.
