We often talk about the success of athletes and teams on the field but it is often the people behind the scenes who make these achievements happen.

Glen Innes and District Football Association is one of the biggest sporting clubs in the town with many tireless volunteers.
One of their own was recognised by the region's governing body as the top volunteer for the year.
Deanna Sharman was named Northern Inland Football's volunteer of the year.
NIF encompasses clubs from Tamworth to Glen Innes, and west to include Moree and Narrabri.
Sharman has never played the sport but has taken on the role of secretary, media coordinator and part-time treasurer for the club.
"I was very shocked," she said of receiving the award.
"I don't do it for the recognition but it is nice to be recognised.
"But I am not the only volunteer in the club, if it wasn't for everyone else doing their part as well, it wouldn't happen.
"I have never played but my husband does, all three kids have played, the youngest is 10. I have always watched. I would rather help behind the scenes than get out on the field."
Northern Inland Football's general manager Julia Farina said they receive a multitude of nominations from all over the area but Sharman stood out.
"Throughout the season Deanna was nominated and was successful in receving July's volunteer of the month," Farina said.
"What that did, at the end of the year we look at everyone that has been nominated and pick out the one that stands out the most.
"Dee stood out the most for us and all the work, not just this year, but over five years of experience, time and effort."
Soccer in Glen Innes has been on the rise with more players registering this year from previous years.
Sharman believes the growth is due to the friendly atmosphere at the club.
"We are good people, you can get some clubs that are really cliquey but we get along with everybody and I think that makes a big difference," she said.
"We are approachable and people can come and talk to us and play soccer."
