Eleven Redfin swimmers competed at the Coffs Harbour Summer Splash Meet on January 18.
Rory, Tahlia and Darcy Husband, Beth, Mary and Porter Arandale, Warne and Cadence McShane, Ashton and Sienna McConnell and Gabrielle Masterson swam well to start their year on a high.
Despite the tough competition with competitors from many strong coastal clubs, the Redfins held their own bringing home lots of medals.
"These results are outstanding for our little club," coach Charlie McShane said.
There were also many, many personal bests swam on the day.
"The kids are all swimming well and improving nicely," McShane said.

Cadence McShane won a gold and two bronze.
Beth Arandale won a gold.

There were also a lot of new events being swum for the first time.
This shows that the swimmers are pushing themselves and entering new events to become stronger overall competitors.
Qualifying times were also achieved for the coming New England and North West Area Championships.
This will potentially give the Glen Innes Redfins their biggest numbers at an Area Championship Meet.
This event is held in Gunnedah in February.
