Flush with cash from a concert on December 14, the choir plans to perform at local aged care facilities and community events through the year, according to choir leader Christine Davis..
"New members are always welcome and no previous experience is necessary," she said.
"We are an easy-going, fun-loving lot who simply enjoy the many positive health effects resulting from group singing".
Meeting fortnightly in Deepwater, the choir performs a mixture of contemporary and traditional songs that incorporate easy harmonies - some with accompaniment by a ukulele ensemble.
On December 14 the group performed its last concert of 2019, featuring both choral performance and a supper dance with a 60's rock and roll band.
As the result of generous donations during the year the event's admission and supper were able to be offered free of charge.
Around 100 community members attended the event, creating a joyous conclusion to a tough year.
The choir will turn three this year, after its founding in 2018.
