At the latest meeting of the club the young members decided on how best to distribute their money among the well deserving charities.
The Leos have been collecting the ring pulls off aluminium cans and recycling the products, raising more than $200 this year and donating to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation.
In 2018 the Leos received the Gold Award in recognition of their dedicated support from the research foundation.
This year through the Leos catering van and fundraising projects they have raised $3800.
The money raised goes towards helping organisations such as Dolly's Dream, Australian Lions Foundation, school breakfast clubs, and more.
Lions Club President Carolyn McClelland helps organise the Leos Club by hosting meetings and providing years of experience.
"We haven't been able to hold a meeting to discuss the distribution of funds due to the coronavirus," Mrs Carolyn McClelland said.
Club secretary Oliver Quinn said it was the first meeting since February 19.
At the meeting the Leos decided on the distribution of funds among more than five different organisations. They decided to donate more than $1000 to organisations in need.
Members are guided by the club's principle in that "we strive to spend our money locally by supporting the ones in need locally."
