In February this year the members of Glencoe Hall Committee resigned. The committee tried to form a new team however they did not have the required executive members.
On Wednesday, August 26 at 10am the Glencoe Hall committee will be holding its final AGM at the hall. Members encourage anyone who is interested in joining their committee to attend.
At Glen Innes Severn Council's meeting this month the decision was made to accept the resignations of the committee.
If the required hall committee can't be formed at the third and final AGM this month, the facility will be closed to the public.
Community committees of council serve an important function in keeping facilities open. Glencoe Hall committee are seeking those who are interested in contributing to the community by joining the committee to attend the AGM.
