There was endless energy from Braxton Ferris against Armidale on Saturday. Henry Trebbin provided a highlight with a really great run. Try scorers for the game were Braxton Ferris (5), Brooke Graham (2), Jason Proctor (1). The U6 team had a lot of fun and in the last quarter where there was a "stacks on game". After each run the whole two teams would jump on the tackled player. The coaches from both teams had to pull off players and get them on their feet before the game could continue. The kids really enjoyed it but Glen possibly too much. The Magpies energy waned in the later part of the game and ended up losing to Armidale 40-32. Referee points went to Hayden Dawson.

Impressive League from the U16 Magpies was on show against the Armidale Rams running out winners 56-0. Coach James Graham was very happy as he discovered his players had been listening at training. They wanted to play strong up the middle and spread the ball wide and that was what happened. The forwards played together and went hard to lay a platform for the halves. The glory boys then threw some beautiful long passes and the backline combinations were rewarded with points out wide. The team played as one for the first time and was impressive to watch.
