With school holidays almost here the Glen Innes Chapel Theatre is set to reopen this weekend for the Glen Innes community.

The personal history of David Copperfield will be the first film to play at the theatre this Saturday since the chapel closed in mid-March.

"The reopening will give people a safe chance to get out of the house for a couple of hours entertainment," Arts Council president Nigel Brown said.

The theatre will be following the COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions to ensure the safety of all patrons.
