Operators of 'The Local' say they have been overwhelmed by the incredible support they have had from the community after their cafe launch only two months ago.
Since the opening 'The Local' has quickly created a reputation for itself by supporting local producers and businesses and becoming known as a homely and friendly dining spot.
In November 'The Local' is looking forward to launching its restaurant service, further solidifying the inspiration Glen Innes provides.
Building on its recent success 'The Local' has moved onto the next stage of the vision for the cafe by introducing a new venture into degustation.

"A degustation is different to standard restaurant service," explains owner Peter Lynn.
"It's a meticulously-planned journey that presents the marvellous produce from our local farmers and growers, with tasteful drink pairings to complement," he said.
While this style of dining is relatively unknown to Glen Innes, Mr Lynn believes this event will be the perfect opportunity for the community to experience it.
"One of my goals is to remove the stigma that surrounds fine dining, all we're doing is creating an experience to remember, using high quality ingredients and excellent service," head chef Tom Robinson said.
Mr Lynn said the entire night will be filled with hidden gems, all fine-tuned to create the perfect dining experience. This evening event just shows the waves 'The Local' is creating through the town.
