The women of Glen Innes were treated to a free informational morning tea this week from HealthWise, with a Melbourne Cup twist.

Getting into the spirit of Melbourne Cup day the women were dressed up in their finery at the free morning tea, held at the community centre on Tuesday, November 3.
The Healthwise event was sponsored by Givit as part of a series of recent events hosted in the area.
"They are a great thing for our community to have happening," organiser Mary Hollingworth said.

The event provided a special treat for the women who attended the informational morning tea.
Two Nutrimetics consultants Christine Fittler and Kristy Klinar provided a pampering session for the women who wished to take part where they were made over with a selection of cosmetic products.
HealthWise registered nurse Jilly Jopson provided an information presentation on menopause, how to spot the symptoms, treatments and the stages to expect.
Upon leaving all the women received a gift bag filled with wonderful items, and informational pamphlets for attending the free morning tea event.
