The Glen Innes community will gather together for its annual Remembrance Day ceremony at Anzac Park tomorrow.
All are welcome to take the time to reflect and pay tribute to the soldiers who fought for our country during the service which will take place at 10.25am on Wednesday, November 11.
"Remembrance Day is a day to remember all ex-servicemen and women from all theatres of war, it is a way for us to remember the sacrifice they made for our freedom," RSL New England district president Gordon Taylor said.
RSL sub-branch president Gayle Turnbull will address the assembly for the morning's proceeding. Following the ceremony a lunch will be held at the Services Club.
With the current COVID restrictions the ceremony will have a capacity of 100 attendees. The RSL sub branch will live stream the ceremony to their Facebook page for those who could not attend to watch along.
With the current limitations the number of school student attendees will be limited to a selection of school captains.
Schools will be contributing to the service by making poppies to place in the grounds, and placing wreaths to pay their respects.
