
Emergency services responded to a call out of a car alight in bushland on the Strathbogie Road on Thursday, January 28 at 2.36pm.
Glen Innes Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene with Police to discover a vehicle on fire.
Fortunately firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the motor vehicle blaze and the grass fire within 15 minutes of their arrival, before it got out of control
After the fire was extinguished fire crews left the scene while Police remained to conduct further investigations.

Armidale Chief inspector Dave Cooper said a Volkswagen was reported stolen from a location in Bourke Street the previous evening.
It was the vehicle found the following day, totally destroyed by fire.
Three young persons from Glen Innes were identified as the offenders later that day.
They will be dealt with under the young offenders act.
A 31-years-old Glen Innes male has also been identified, but has not yet been spoken to regarding the matter.
