The song was written by for the Glen Innes singer by Tamworth singer-songwriter Shaza Leigh, as a tribute to Jillett's late father Evan, better known as Evie, who was a major influence in her music career and her love for country music.
Rachel's father, a talented vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, was often seen accompanying and supporting Rachel at music festivals, concerts and music industry awards until his passing in August 2018.
"This truly is a beautiful tribute to Dad. The song accurately conveys Dad's love for his family and the major role he always played. He was like a sturdy strainer post, always strong, reliable and holding everything and everyone together," Rachel said.
"It has been a very difficult three years of grief. The closer you are to a person, the more difficult it is and the greater the person, the greater the loss. Dad was an extraordinary person, in so many ways.
"I'm so pleased to be able to finally return to recording again and to be able to record this song. It's a very special song and I know a lot of people will be able to relate to it. It's sure to strike a chord with many."
